vRealize Orchestrator how to restart management agent of esx host

Login to the vRealize Orchestrator client

Select the workflow view> Expand library

There are some predefined workorders in these folders.Under SSH foder there is workorder to run SSH command

We can just right click & duplicate this WF

Once you duplicate the WF. We can edit it

Go to the presentation tab

Select the Varialbe Command and edit as following.(/etc/init.d/hostd restart

Select the user name

Add default value as root

Add yes as a default value for (boolean)passwordAuthentication Do you want to use password authentication?

Add our root password of ESX hosts as a default value of Password Authentication

Save & close the WF

Right click & start WF

Give host name for runbook

We can click on submit button

We can see the output. It has been restarted hostd service
