We can use SCCM 2012 R2 software inventory to collect file(ex *.exe, *.log) file in the client computer. To enable the software inventory on the client computers we have to use client settings, but we don’t want to trigger this scan process on all of your computers. To eliminate this we can create custom client device settings.
